Will you sign an NDA and transfer IP?

Yes. NDAs are standard, and agreements assign work product and IP to you once invoices are settled. For EU customers we also provide a GDPR Art. 28 Data Processing Agreement (DPA / AVV) on request — see /dpa and /trust.

Can EU customer data be hosted in Europe?

Yes. Hosting region is agreed per engagement. EU customers can select an EU cloud region (for example Frankfurt). Details are on our Trust page and in the DPA.

This Privacy Policy describes how Markseasy Preparation Private Limited (trading as Prepseed, “we”, “us”) processes personal data when you visit https://prepseed.com, contact us, or engage us for software products and services. It is designed to meet transparency requirements under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws.

When we process personal data solely on a customer’s documented instructions inside a product or custom system, we act as a processor. Those processing activities are governed by the customer contract and our Data Processing Agreement (DPA / AVV), not primarily by this notice.

6. Recipients and processors

We may share personal data with hosting and infrastructure providers, email and communication tools, professional advisers, and — where you engage us — subprocessors listed or summarised on our Trust page and in the DPA. We do not sell personal data.

7. International transfers

Prepseed is established in India. Personal data may be processed in India and in cloud regions selected for a customer engagement (including EU regions such as Frankfurt where agreed). Where GDPR applies and data is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), supplemented as needed, and contractual security commitments in our DPA.

Website logs and security records: typically up to 12 months, unless longer retention is required for security investigations
Enquiry and sales correspondence: for the duration of the relationship and a reasonable period thereafter (usually up to 3 years)
Contracts and invoices: as required by applicable tax and commercial law (often 7–10 years)
Cookie consent records: up to 12 months or until you reset preferences
Processor data under a customer DPA: per the DPA and customer instructions

9. Your rights (GDPR Arts. 12–22)

Where the GDPR applies, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your EU Member State of residence or work.

10. Children

Our website and B2B services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children via this site.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes affecting EU visitors will be highlighted on this page or via other appropriate notice.
